I was looking through pictures today and found this one, it’s one of my favorites. I call it “My Sarasota Sunrise.” It was taken on the rooftop of the Art Ovation Hotel. I thought I’d share it because it reminds me of Ted Turner’s quote about setting goals and having something to live for. I love that quote!

This picture was one of the many sparks that inspired me to think about the things I value most.

Last year I was fortunate to travel to Florida (twice). It was truly the cool people I was blessed to hang out with but it was also the fact that I was deeply immersed in my time outside of the silo. The warm, intoxicating breezes, the water… the people… Siesta Key and Lido Beaches… amazing!

The weight of the world seemed to have been lifted off of my shoulders.

That’s a feeling I want to hold onto.

So Happy Saturday! I hope you all are safe and are able to reach for and find peace in the people, places and things that you value the most!
