“I believe the children are our future | Teach them well and let them lead the way | Show them all the beauty they possess inside | Give them a sense of pride to make it easier | Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be…”
Timewarp 1970s: “The Greatest Love of All” was a song written by Linda Creed (lyrics) and Michael Masser (music). In the late seventies it was recorded by George Benson. George Benson put it on the map but Whitney Houston, not quite 10 years later, took it to the soft spot in our hearts.
Feb. 11 marks the 4th anniversary of the untimely death of Whitney Houston.
Rather than focus on the end of Whitney’s life, let’s push play on the beginning of two great renditions:
George Benson version (YouTube).
Whitney Houston version (VEVO).
